A Key Teacher for Every Child

On average, every 3–5 children are supported by a familiar key teacher. This teacher pays close attention to each child’s routines, emotions, friendships and growth, helping children feel safe, settled and understood.

  • Children receive more individual attention in everyday care and learning
  • Warm, familiar relationships help children feel safe, settled and confident
  • A strong sense of belonging supports friendship, emotional security and lasting memories

Why this matters

We see the emotional safety of children as deeply important. When children feel secure and known, they are more ready to explore, communicate and build friendships that can become a joyful part of their lives for years to come.

Family Partnership

Every Family’s Voice Matters

Families can speak with the key teacher or any member of our team about their child’s education, care and daily wellbeing. We also invite family feedback from time to time so our teaching team can keep improving communication, trust and partnership.

  • Families can talk with the key teacher or any teacher about their child’s education and daily life
  • Regular feedback helps us keep improving relationships, communication and support
  • Children, families and teachers form one close and cooperative team

Working together

We believe a centre should feel like a second home — a place where children are cared for, families are heard and teachers and parents can grow together in partnership.

One Team Around Every Child

A strong early learning environment is built around one team: children, families and teachers working together with love, care and responsibility.

Warm Relationships

Children are supported by caring adults who notice their routines, feelings, growth and friendships.

Open Communication

Families are invited into honest, respectful conversations about children’s everyday learning and wellbeing.

Growing Together

We keep improving through feedback, shared responsibility and a strong partnership between home and centre.
